CES2011: Cirago Launches New Media Center and USB Network Storage

Cirago is well known to me, they do make some great products. At CES this year they’ve introduced a new media center called the CMC3200 that features a 2TB hard drive, one year subscription to PlayOn and it even includes an 802.11N wireless adapter. The other product is the Link+ USB Network Storage Link that features four USB2.0 ports that you can access over your network.

The new CMC3200 model is the first of its kind to offer 2 TB of built-in media storage capacity. Each unit includes a one-year subscription to PlayOn digital media service and an 802.11n Wi-Fi adapter, a $70 added value.

“With a retail price of just $299.99, the CMC3200 offers double the storage capacity of any other device on the market,” said Tenny Sin, Executive Vice President at Cirago. “Plus, with the bundled PlayOn subscription and Wi-Fi capability, this device offers a better value and a wider range of entertainment options to make enjoying your media easier and more affordable.”

Featuring the same robust features as its acclaimed 500 GB and 1 TB CiragoTV Platinum devices, the CMC3200 enables users to enjoy 1080p HD videos on any networked device, record live TV and record/playback different shows simultaneously. With its unique timeshift feature, the CiragoTV Platinum even allows users to pause or rewind live TV shows.

Cirago International, a leading manufacturer of multimedia centers, storage and wireless solutions, today unveiled its new Cirago Link+ (NUS2000) USB Network Storage Link that delivers premium performance to access up to four USB-networked devices quickly and easily from anywhere—even while on the go.

The compact device, set to debut in second quarter 2011 and retail for under $100, includes all the functionality of the company’s highly regarded NUS1000, with added NTFS write support, remote access capability and gigabit Ethernet connectivity, delivering the highest speed available on the market for Ethernet devices.

Configurable for up to 32 user accounts, the device provides secure password access to specific drives and/or folders as needed. Compatible with any wireless router for cordless access, the device even includes built-in iTunes, BitTorrent and media server capabilities that allow users to create and access an entire digital media library from any networked device.
