D3Publisher announced today that PSP® (PlayStation®Portable) system games Beta Bloc and Super Pocket Tennis are now available for download via the PlayStation®Store in North America. PSP system owners will now have easy access to play Beta Bloc, a unique mix of RPG and brick-breaking gameplay played vertically on the PSP system, or become a tennis superstar as they serve, smash, lob, and volley their way to the top with Super Pocket Tennis. Beta Bloc and Super Pocket Tennis are now available for download for $4.99 each.

In Beta Bloc, players will turn their PSP system on its side and use the dragon paddle to fight through 120 challenging stages of brick-breaking action in single player or with a friend via wireless play. Players will use special moves like squash hits, shake-the-wall and plasma cannon to destroy the blocks and battle powerful enemies. As players clear each stage, they earn experience points and increase the strength and spell powers of their paddle for a totally unique gameplay experience.

Super Pocket Tennis gives players exiting tennis action on-the-go as they compete in singles or doubles matches with one of 20 unique characters on a variety of court types including clay, grass, and carpet. Players will hone their skills with fun mini-games and then take on their friends with wireless play for up to 4 players.

Beta Bloc was developed by Tamsoft and is rated “E” (Everyone – Fantasy violence).
