The new Sceptre X322BV-HDR HDTV is Energy Star V6.0 compliant and should only cost you about $8.60 per year to run, which is pretty cheap I would think. The HDTV is LED and the lamp is rated for 50,000 hours or more than five years of nonstop usage. Price is $299.99 and you can find it at place like Costco, Amazon, Kmart and Walmart and others right now.

Sceptre, superior manufacturers of world class LED/LCD HDTVs and PC displays, unveils their energy efficient 32-inch LED HDTV designed to provide superb image quality and long term energy savings.

Sceptre’s new X322BV-HDR features an ultra slim brush pattern bezel design that perfectly complements the jet black trim and is capable of displaying brighter and more robust colors through a variety of features including a 5,000:1 contrast ratio, 3D Comb Filter and more.  The unit also comes equipped with the bells and whistles of more expensive HDTVs, including 5.1 digital audio output capabilities, multiple HDMI and a USB port for easy connectivity and the ability to be wall-mounted or used as a computer monitor.

“We design our HDTVs to meet the evolving consumer needs and the new 32-inch LED HDTV embodies our pursuit of providing quality entertainment products that delivers long term savings,” stated Cathy Chou, vice president of operations, Sceptre.  “Our newest LED HDTV is one of the most energy efficient in the market but doesn’t sacrifice performance or aesthetics.”

The X322BV-HDR is Energy Star V6.0 compliant with an estimated energy cost of only $8.60 a year.  In addition, it has a rated lamp life of over 50,000 hours or more than 5 years of nonstop usage, resulting in significant long term energy savings.
