Verizon Launches Samsung Intensity II – Now with Night Vision!

v2

Wow.. Samsung has been really busy lately it seems with many phones launching across all of the carriers. Today we’re seeing another for Verizon called the Intensity II, it’s similar to the Gravity phones that I just reviewed but this one has infrared with night vision, can your phone do that?! Anyway the rest of the specs are 2.2” screen with 240×320 resolution, QWERTY keyboard, media center and many of the basic things we’ve come to expect.  The price though will be only $49.99 with contract and rebate. Oh yeah, it’s also a phone that’s partially made from recycled materials.

The Intensity II’s design includes an exterior battery cover made from 35 percent post-consumer materials, which is recycled plastic extracted from water bottles or other recycled polycarbonate materials.

For customers interested in calculating their own carbon footprints, the Intensity II offers an eco-calculator to track car fuel mileage, efficiency and estimated amount of carbon dioxide emitted, along with a calendar and ringtones.
