Review of Halite Video Purifier by Salt Labs

Conclusion

The Salt Labs Halite is essentially the DarbeeVision Darblet with a new shell and that’s not a bad thing as the Darblet is a great product but it’s not what I would call good looking. That Halite takes the usefulness of the Darblet and puts it into an aesthetically pleasing shell that would look just fine in your entertainment center along with your other components.

The Halite truly does improve and enhance your video experience by adding depth cues to your videos, and that can be standard definition, high definition or even video games, it can improve anything on your HDTV.

If you have an HDTV then you probably know that watching SD or standard definition on it isn’t exactly the best viewing experience, but the Halite can help there as it will improve SD video.

The Halite is something I think that everyone can appreciate. If you watch a lot of video and play a lot of games on your HDTV then you don’t know what you’re missing.  I didn’t know these things existed until the Darblet and now I can’t see ever using my HDTV without one as it just really does improve the picture quality and which in turn adds to your viewing pleasure.

Salt Labs fixed the looks of the Darblet, the Halite looks much better and should be right home in your home entertainment center, but sadly the connections are still on the sides which might pose a placement issue in many setups.
