It’s a new week and we’re back with the list of new products on technogog. We’ve got several new things like camera, phones and TVs. Coming up this week of course we’ve got more reviews for you and news as well. Let’s just get right into it.
Let’s start off with cell phones:
The LG Optimus ME P350 is an Android 202 (Froyo) smartphone that supports Multi Touch Experience and Gesture UI. Users can navigate their way around the unit through intuitive gesture UI, such as making calls and sending out messages. The smartphone also allows users to stay connected with friends and family with its support for social networking services. Available in five different color, the smartphone also comes with microSD memory expandability. The multi touch support lets users pinch to zoom their browser, gallery and map. Powered by a processor that supports quick touch response, the LG Optimus ME P350 sports a 2.8-inch QVGA screen.
The Sony Ericsson Xperia Play is an Android smartphone that supports GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz and HSDPA 800 / 850/ 900 / 1900 / 2100 3G network in its 119 x 62 x 16 mm/175g form factor. The smartphone features a 4 inch LED-backlit capacitive touchscreen with 16M colors and 480 x 854 pixels resolution. The screen supports touch sensitive gaming controls, PSP like gaming buttons, an accelerometer sensor for UI auto-rotate, proximity sensor for auto turn-off, multi-touch input method and Timescape UI. It also has vibration and MP3 ringtones, loudspeaker with stereo speakers, a 3.5 mm jack, an almost unlimited entry phonebook, internal 400 MB memory with expandability via microSD up to 32GB.
Next up would be a tablet computer:
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is a tablet that supports HSPA+ 21 Mbps 850/900/1900/2100 network as well as EDGA/GPRS 850/900/1800/1900. It has a 10.1 inch 1280 x 800 WXGA TFT display and is powered by a 1 GHz dual core application processor. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 also has an 8 megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash, a front 2.0 megapixel camera, supports MP3, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+, OGG, MIDI, and AMR-NB/WB audio format, MPEG4/H.263/H.264 video format, and provides users with access to Android Market. It also features Android UI and Android browser, Google mobile services such as Google Talk Video Chat and Google Maps, Bluetooth v2.1 with EDR technology, USB 2.0 and WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 also has a gyroscope, accelerometer, digital compass and proximity sensor, and an internal 16GB or 32 GB memory (depending on model) in its 246.2 x 170.4 x 10.9 mm/599g form factor.
Next we’ve got another product from Samsung, an MP3 Player:
The Samsung Galaxy S WiFi 5.0 is a personal media player that runs Android Froyo (2.2) and is upgradable to Gingerbread (2.3). It is powered by a 1 Ghz processor and is designed in a 78.2×141.3×11.9 mm form factor. The PMP also sports a 5-inch TFT display (WVGA 800 x 480) with enhanced sound engine (SoundAlive), stereo speaker, multicodec support and SmartLife with Google services. It is optimized with WiFi Communicator for VoIP, has embedded receiver for VoIP, Front Camera for Video Chat, is preloaded with Solution for VoIP (Skype) & Video Chat (Qik plus).
Then we’ve got digital cameras from Nikon:
The Nikon CoolPix S6100 is a compact digital camera that supports 16 million megapixel output via its 1/2.3 inch CCD sensor, and has a 7x optical Zoom, NIKKOR glass lens with a focal length of 5.0-35.0 mm (angle of view equivalent to that of 28-196mm lens in 35mm  format). It supports f/3.7-5.6 aperture, has up to 4x (angle of view equivalent to that of approx. 784 mm lens in 35mm  format), supports lens shift Vibration Reduction, autofocus, face detection, focus lock, a 3.0 inch diagonal TFT LCD touch panel with anti-reflective coating, supports SD, SDHC and SDXC memory cards and has an internal 74 MB memory. Other features on the Nikon CoolPix S6100 include ISO 80-3200 sensitivity, 256-segment matrix exposure metering, 20 Scene Modes, white balance adjustments, 1/2000-1 seconds shutter speed, built-in flash with a range of 1ft. 8 in. to 14 ft. The Nikon CoolPix S6100 measures 2.3 x 3.9 in. x 1.1 in. and weighs 6.2 oz. and camera strap, charging adapter, USB Cable, audio video cable and Nikon ViewNX 2 Software CD.

Here’s one related to wireless networks:
The Sierra Wireless AirCard 753S is a 4G mobile hotspot device that allows users to connect with up to five Wi-Fi enabled devices simultaneously to the internet over Dual-Carrier HSPA+networks. Designed in a size of a deck of cards, the Sierra Wireless AirCard 753S does not require additional software to install and features an integrated LCD display that provides information such as WiFi access information, battery life, network signal strength, and the number of devices connected. The unit also emits audible alerts and features an intuitive web interface for monitoring of device status. The web interface can be accessed from any common web browser, and lets users change the hotspot’s administrative and security settings.
Next up is a TV from Panasonic:
The Panasonic Viera TC-L42D30 is a 42-inch LCD television featuring Full HD 1080p that was unveiled at the CES event in early January 2011. This model forms part of the TC-LxxD30 series of LCD televisions from Panasonic Viera. Panasonic provides users with the VIERA Connect on this TV. It is equipped with four HDMI in ports. It is also equipped with a DLNA output port. It comes with a USB port for media and storage. It features the VIERA Image Viewer H.264 that can be used for video playback. It offers a display refresh rate of 120 Hz. It comes with a stand. It features internet applications and comes with several connectivity features.
Then how about an internal hard drive, or actually an SSD:
The Apacer 120GB Turbo II AS602 is a solid state drive that supports SATA II 3.0 Gb/seconds transfer rates and features a SandForce SF-1222 controller. It also supports an MLC flash and comes with a capacity of 120GB. It supports read speeds of up to 285 MB/seconds and a write speed of up to 275 MB/seconds. The unit is tested for 1500G shock resistance, 15G vibration and operates in humidities of 5% to 95%. Other features on the Turbo II AS602 includes built-in ECC (up to 24 bytes correction per 512 bytes), Dynamic/Static wear-leveling, Flash bad-block management, S.M.A.R.T. …and finally we’ve got a laptop from Toshiba:
The Toshiba Satellite T235D is a solid and slim notebook that was released in late 2010. Featuring a 13-inch display, this notebook is powered by an Intel Pentium or AMD Neo dual-core CPU. Designed in a solid and slim package, this Toshiba device is an optical-drive-free laptop. Equipped with 4GB of RAM, it works on the ATI RS880M + SD820M chipset. Measuring at 12.7 inches x 8.8 inches (WD), this laptop runs on Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit). Weighting at 3.8 pounds, it operates on the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4225 graphics. It comes with several connectivity ports including an HDMI-out, VGA plus HDMI or DisplayPort. It comes with a combo eSATA/USB 2.0 port.
