I’ve got a quick review of something a bit different that I’m filing under the toys category because we don’t have a category for art supplies really. Coloring was for kids but it seems it’s a really popular hobby now for adults as you can find assorted numerous coloring books for adults, so I was offered a chance to review a 100 marker set and figured why not?! There are 100 markers in the pack from a company called US Art Supply and they are all a different color, no double colors, but they are double ended, one end is a bullet or fine point and the other is chisel or broad. The price comes in at about 30 cents per marker and I think they’re well worth it. Read on to learn more…
Specifications and Features
Inside of the brown box is a very colorful box that hold the markers but it’s a display style box sort of that you can reuse for storage if you want. The box has a tray in the bottom with holes in it and each marker is in its own hole.
The are 100 markers in the box and yes each one is a different color, I tested them all. Some of the lids look very similar in color but when you use them you’ll see the difference even if it is very slight, so yes there really are 100 different colors.
The markers are about 5.5 inches long and about .5 inches wide. On both ends you’ll see colored caps that indicate the color of the marker ink. One end of the marker is a chisel point or wide point and the other is a bullet point or fine tip. On the barrel of the marker is markings as well to let you know which tip is on which end. The markers seem well made for what they are, they’re plastic like most markers and they’re light weight but sturdy.
Conclusion
Coloring is popular again, with adults, imagine that right? So we adults need markers and we need lots of colors and I think this a decent set with a plethora of colors to choose from.
These markers seem well made, they’re not too big and not too small, they’re comfortable to hold for a long time while coloring.
For what you get, the quantity I mean, I think the price is fine, it comes out to about 30 cents per marker.
Pros:
+100 unique colors
+Inexpensive really
+Seems well made
Cons:
-None so far
