It’s been a while since we’ve looked at any iPod accessories hasn’t it? Well if you’ve still got your iPod nano 4th Generation then the product I’ve got today might interest you. The product is a decent case from iFrogz called the Nano Luxe. The case is made of plastic, the top half is clear while the bottom half is black plastic that has a faint texture to it. Included with the case is a screen protector as well to further protect your nano.
The packaging is mostly a plastic box with a cardboard slip cover surrounding it. iFrogz included a couple stickers with it as well that can actually be used over the click wheel for decoration and protection. They included the iFrogz logo stickers for me, but there are many other styles to choose from.
Opening it up we find just the case itself, but inside of the case is a faux iPod looking cardboard insert along with a screen protector. The screen part of the case is cut-out so that’s why there’s the included screen protector.
There is a button on the back of the case that is used to take it apart so you can put your iPod inside of it, just push the button and it pops apart.
The screen protector is basic, not much special here, but it will do the job.
Specifications:
-Clear top with Soft Touch Base
Price: $17.99
I used the iFrogz 4th Gen Nano Luxe case with my iPod nano 4th gen of course.
Getting my iPod in the case couldn’t be any easier, just pop it apart, put he iPod in and then click it back together. If you really want to protect your iPod though you’ll use the screen protector which just sticks to the screen of your iPod. The top half is clear so you can see most of the iPod itself, and the Apple logo on the back including any inscription you might have.
The top of the case features a cut-out section that makes it easy to access the lock button of the nano.
The bottom is wide open so you can easily access the both connectors.
The iFrogz Nano Luxe case is nicely made, it should offer decent protection for your iPod. The included screen protector seems to be just like others I’ve seen, nothing special, but it’s easy to apply and it will protect the screen.
Conclusion:
The iFrogz 4th Gen Nano Luxe case will provide good basic protection for all of your iPod including the screen. It’s easy to get your iPod inside of it, just a few seconds and you’re all done. The Nano Luxe is a nice choice if you’re looking for an inexpensive case for your iPod that will offer good overall protection for your nano.
