Alienware Invades Retail with Unique Gaming Experience in the New York Area

Alienware opens a retail store! In New York… sort of..

Alienware is invading the New York area with an all-day launch party to celebrate the opening of the first Alienware Experience. This new store-within-a-store is located just outside New York at the Micro Center North Jersey location in Paterson. Known for excellent customer service, Micro Center is focused on the needs of dedicated computer users. The Alienware Invasion begins at 11:30 a.m. EDT on Saturday, July 25.

As Dell’s premier gaming brand, Alienware is bringing a new level of excitement to the retail marketplace with The Alienware Experience. Hardcore gamers and tech-savvy computer enthusiasts now have the opportunity to experience Alienware first hand.

The Alienware Invasion will include the Alienware Gaming Area which will kick off on Saturday, July 25th, with a LAN event at noon EDT. Gamers of all types will square off against each other or against the PMS Clan playing Quake 4™. Those not looking for player vs. player matches can test drive the latest games available on Alienware systems like Bionic Commando™, Sims 3™ and Ghostbusters™.

Several award-winning products will be showcased including the recently introduced Alienware M17x, the world’s most powerful 17-inch gaming laptop, the M17 and Area-51 m15x laptops and the Area-51 X58 desktop. The first 500 guests to arrive will receive exclusive Alienware t-shirts, draw string bags and 2GB USB thumb drives. Attendees who decide to prove their gaming prowess at the LAN event will also have the chance to win additional prizes such as PC games, speakers, keyboards, mice and headphones until 6 p.m. EDT.
