Boost mobile has just announced the launch of the new Motorola 1296 tough and rugged phone. This phone meet US Military standards requirements for dust, shock and vibration resistance and it will even withstand drops and spills. They recommended you get it with the $50 unlimited monthly plan which is nationwide unlimited voice, text, messaging, e-mail and 411 calls with no contract.

Motorola i296 is available now at for $59.99 (excluding taxes) with free shipping. The phone is also available now through Boost Mobile exclusive retail stores and select independent wireless dealer locations. Later this summer, Motorola i296 will be sold at Best Buy, Target and Sprint Wireless stores.
