Free Android App: Meporter

Ever wanted to be a reporter? now everyone can with Mereporter, which is a free app for your Android phone. It’s in the beta right now, but it allows anyone to report the news as they see it happening and it’s location based. I like the idea of this kind of app, but I don’t think law enforcement will take too kindly to it. We’ve all seen and read the stories of citizens being harassed and even arrested just because they filmed, recorded or reported the wrong doings of the police. This is something that should never happen of course, the police should be held accountable for what they do. Anyway, this app is for any news you see happening in your area like the weather, traffic, accidents or police actions. Just open up the app and report the news, it couldn’t be any easier really. The location-based news app allows users all around the world to report and read news as it’s happening in any local community, right down to the street level.
