$79 for a quad core seven inch tablet? What’s the catch? I guess the catch would be that it only has a 1024×600 resolution screen, other than that though the specs don’t seem bad at all for that price. The Nextbook 7 has a quad core CPU obviously, but it’s running at 1.6ghz, and it also has 1gb ddr3 ram and 16gb memory which is expandable up to 64gb with a microSD card. The tablet also .3mp front camera and microphone along with Bluetooth, microHDMI port and G sensor. More details below..
E FUN announces its newest quad-core Nextbook Android 4.4 tablet now with Bluetooth, the Nextbook 7. Weighing less than one pound, the ultra-thin 7” tablet is the perfect accessory for browsing the web, reading books, playing games and more. The Nextbook 7 is preloaded with Google Play, the Barnes and Noble NOOK for Android app, VUDU, Flixster and more. It is available exclusively at Walmart.com for $79 (model NX700QC16G).
“We are extremely excited to add to our Android tablet line and offer customers more choices for a high-quality tablet at an entry-level price,” said Jason Liszewski, managing director and vice president of sales for E FUN. “The Nextbook 7 delivers the features consumers have asked for such as Bluetooth, more memory, faster speeds and the Google Play store without compromising on price. It makes a great gift for friends and family of all ages.”
The new Nextbook 7 tablet features a 7” high-definition color touch screen, the Android 4.4 Kit Kat operating system, and a high-performance quad-core processor (1.6GHz MediaTek MT8127 ARM Cortex A7) for quick and easy navigation between tasks. Now with Bluetooth 4.0, users can connect their Nextbook tablet to wireless accessories such as speakers, keyboards and printers for a more complete experience. When using a third party navigation app with onboard maps, the Nextbook 7’s built-in GPS module will locate your position and provide navigation without the need for cell service or an Internet connection.
