Review of D-Link Wi-Fi AC750 SharePort Go III Router and Charger

Conclusion

The D-Link SharePort Go III (DIR-510L) is a must have piece of technology to have in any traveler’s bag. This multifunction device provides a much-needed boost when your mobile phone or tablet needs additional power, allows one to offload information or access media/data via a remotely attached USB drive and of course functioning as a wireless router/hotspot.

D-Link has improved on previous versions of their SharePort Go series by loading this model with numerous upgrades including a 4000 mA battery, Dual Band functionality and 802.11ac speeds. In addition there is a 1 Amp USB port for charging larger battery containing devices such as tablets.

This device is ideal for road warriors as it can turn a wired Internet connection into a secure Wi-Fi ones, sharing one Internet connection with multiple devices including the ability to run a guest network or creating a Wi-Fi hotspot connection.

I’ve used several travel routers in the past and the D-Link SharePort Go III is definitely the best one I’ve come across. While it is definitely more expensive than its predecessors its new capabilities help take the sting out of the cost. I know it will be accompanying me on pretty much all my journeys.
