So I needed some new steak knives and went looking and found some I liked a lot and I thought would be worth reviewing and sharing with you. They’re from a company called Flying Colors and they’re inexpensive but decent overall, they seem well made and they’re sharp. The knives are supposedly European style so they’re different than you’re normal knives as it were and I like it. Read on to learn more…
Specifications and Features
The are about 8.5 inches long, .5 inches high and about .5 inches wide and overall they feel well made.
The handles of the knives are brightly colored, Yellowish Green Color, Sky Blue, Violet, Orange, Pink, and Yellow. The handles are plastic, which is fine by me, I like metal or plastic handles as wooden handles don’t do well when soaked in a sink of water and other dishes.
The knives are serrated, as steak knives should be, but they only have the visible serrations on one side and the other side is smooth.
Conclusion
The Flying Colors knives are brightly colored and well made and very sharp. The first time my wife used them she said she didn’t realize that we needed new knives as bad as we did.
If you’re looking for new knives these are inexpensive, great looking and so far they seem well made. Not a bad choice for a set of steak knives.
Pros:
+Well made
+Sharp
