The Review

Let’s start out with a video unboxing and demo and then move on:

The night light comes in a small brown box with a whale on the front, inside you’ll find a micro USB cable for charging, the whale night light itself and instructions.

The light is shaped like a cute whale, it’s a white rubbery material and it has two eyes and a mouth at the front of course. The material is soft and the whale is hollow so you can fully squash it. The whale is about 4 inches high, and 6 inches long and then about 4.5 inches wide.

There is a large non-slip pad on the bottom which is also the switch. There’s a power button and a micro USB port for charging the internal battery.

So the description says the whale has 5 single colors and 5 color breathing modes but this one doesn’t and that’s not a bad thing in my opinion. This one has low soft white, bright soft white, white, green, red, blue and purple colors and that’s all it does, you can just change the colors by hitting the top or dropping it as the sensor is actually on the bottom.

So that was a quick review.

The whale night light works fine, it’s cute and squishy and I think kids will love it, I know my youngest son thinks it’s cute and like to bop or tap it.

The light seems well made overall so it should be able to withstand a lot of tapping and dropping.

One small issue is that the specs say different than what the whale actually does, to me it doesn’t matter as I like it the way it is, but some people might be expecting something else.

+Numerous lighting modes
+Well made
+Cute and squishy

-Doesn’t quite work like specs say
