The Review
Let’s start with a video unboxing and then move on:
The watch comes in Amazon frustration free packaging which is just a brown box. The watch is wrapped in plastic and then there’s bubble wrap for protection during shipping. Instructions are included in the box and that’s it.
The watch is came or camouflage in color as it’s an outdoors type watch which would be great for sportsmen or kids I’m sure. The watch displays the time and seconds in the main bottom display, and then the seconds again in the top display. There are seven small boxes at the top right of the watch face which will fill in for what day of the weeks it is. On the left side of the watch is a circular animation that moves with the seconds. The watch has modes for 12 and 24 hour displays, it has an alarm and a chronograph.
There are four silver colored buttons on the watch for light, mode, set and adjust.
The watch band is thick and heavy duty with a large clasp that has two hooks that go through the holes on the band. The band is made of a rubber material making it soft and comfortable.
On the bottom or back of the watch is a stainless steel cover which is held on by four small screws which you have to remove to change the battery which is a CR2025 size. The watch is waterproof to 50 meters or about 160 feet which should be fine for swimming, showering, or any outdoors activities in the rain.
The watch has a blue EL backlight that stays on temporarily when you press the light button. The hours and seconds light up along with the day and the animated dial. The light is more than bright enough to see everything fine in the dark.
Conclusion
My son saw this watch and just had to have it, he loves the camo pattern and the fact that it’s fairly basic. The watch has an alarm and chronograph but his favorite feature is that it’s waterproof and rugged and he can wear it outside and in the shower and while playing and not worry too much about it.
I like the watch myself and it does feel very rugged and durable, it most certainly is an outdoor watch and I think most sportsmen would be happy with it.
The price is very low, it’s $15 on Amazon right now and it’s very much worth it for sure.
