One thing I’ve always been missing is a vacuum for my car, I just never got one, I always just run an extension cord from my house and use the house vacuum when I do it and it works but it’s not the best solution really. Up for review today I have the Reswerwa wet dry car vacuum and I like it a lot, it works great and it’s quiet and it even comes with cleaning attachments and a carry bag to keep everything together. Specifications and Features
The accessories for the vacuum include a crevice attachment and brush attachment along with a flexible hose. They also include a small dust pan and broom for you, it’s not really part of the vacuum as it’s more of a bonus, but it’s useful I guess.
The vacuum is made of plastic and it’s very lightweight, it seems well made overall. On the handle is a sliding switch to power the vacuum on and off and then behind that is a push button switch for the headlight which is located at the front edge of the handle. Right below the LED headlight is a push button which unlocks the trash bin. The cord is nice and long, about 14 feet, long enough to reach the back of most vehicles for sure.
The trash bin or collection compartment is clear so you can see when it’s full and it has a large hole at the end for suction and that’s where the hose and other attachments can fit in. The bin comes off and inside you’ll find the removable air filter.
The best thing is that everything, except the dust pan, fits in the bag making it portable and keeping everything together so things don’t get lost. The bag has a handle on top and it zippers all around and it seems
For testing I vacuumed my van, it’s been a while since I did it so it was really dirty, especially pieces of rock salt and other debris in there. The vacuum works fine for its size, it’s not as powerful as a home vacuum but I didn’t expect it to be, for what it is it works just fine. One thing that surprised me though is that it’s not very loud at all. I do have one complaint though, the trash collection bin is rather small and when full the debris starts falling back out.
Conclusion
I’m happy with this product, it works as it should, it’s quiet and it seems well made and it comes with a carrying bag to keep everything all together for you.
The vacuum works fine, the attachments are useful, and the it does a good job at vacuuming up all but the largest and heaviest debris.
The only issue is the debris bin, it’s a bit small, but you’ll just have to empty it more often, which is fine really.
For the price I think it’s worth it, I’ll happily be using it all the time to keep my van clean.
Pros:
+All fits in bag
+Simple to use
+Inexpensive
+LED headlight
