Hmm.. I’m not sure about the whole touchpad things with a full sized computer but hey I’ll give anything a try once! Logitech is proud to announce three new products for helping you navigate Windows 8 faster and more efficiently. The first is a touchpad, yes an actual touchpad like you might find on a laptop, the other two are mice, both of which are touch enabled. All of them are going to be available this month, with no exact date, but prices are between $50 and $80 for them.
Logitech Wireless Rechargeable Touchpad T650
The Logitech Wireless Rechargeable Touchpad T650 features a large, ultra-smooth glass touch-surface that supports Windows 8 gestures, and speeds up navigation among windows while giving your fingers more room to roam.
You can perform the basic point, click and scroll functions anywhere your fingers rest on the touch surface, while also taking advantage of Windows 8 gestures, such as edge gestures for app switching, app bar and charms bar activation, pinch-to-zoom and three-finger swipe to take you back to the Start Screen.
The touchpad consists of one large touch-area with a glass surface that provides smooth gliding for greater gesture and cursor control. You can left- or right-click anywhere on the surface of the touchpad, and it includes an embedded sensor to ensure precise tracking so navigation is fast and fluid.
Logitech Touch Mouse T620
For those looking for a mouse with an ultra-sleek design, the Logitech Touch Mouse T620 provides a full touch-surface for fluid navigation. Similar to the touchpad, you have the freedom to gesture wherever your fingers rest on the mouse – even on the edges – so everything you do feels natural and intuitive, including horizontal and vertical scrolling, and app switching.
This smooth wireless mouse has high style, designed-for-comfort curves that keep your hand happy for hours, and a laser-grade optical sensor that ensures precision tracking on most surfaces.
Logitech Zone Touch Mouse T400
The Logitech Zone Touch Mouse T400 goes beyond traditional mouse functionality by letting you quickly and easily access popular elements of the operating system. It features a glass touch-surface that is designed for smooth horizontal and vertical scrolling with your fingers, and you can click anywhere on the front of the touch zone to go directly to the Windows 8 Start Screen to access your favorite apps.
With a rubber grip wrapping the comfortable shape – and by coupling the standard functionality found in a more traditional mouse with smooth horizontal and vertical scrolling – you’ll be happy exploring your PC or tablet for hours on end.
Battery Life
The Logitech Wireless Rechargeable Touchpad T650 recharges through USB and has up to one month of battery life on a full charge, and an On/Off switch with a low-battery indicator light. The Logitech Touch Mouse T620 has a six-month battery life, and the Logitech Zone Touch Mouse T400 has an 18-month battery life. Similar to the touchpad, the Logitech Zone Touch Mouse T400 also features an On/Off switch and a low battery indicator light.
The battery life for each product is based on varying user and computing conditions.
