The Review

Let’s start with an unboxing video then continue on:

When you first open the box you’re greeted with a poster that is actually the assembly instructions with 12 steps to complete the assembly of your new chair.

Once you get the box open you’ll find plenty of things including two smaller boxes.

When I was unpacking things I noticed the base was a bit different, for the better, it has reinforcements welded into the underside at the center section and across each arm in the middle.

The smaller brown box contains the base of the chair that sits between the chair itself and the base, it’s well made, or what I mean is that it’s sturdy and well constructed.

The black box with the E-Win logo on it has lots of stuff inside, when you open the box you’ll be greeted with the contents list along with pictures of each.

The parts included are the casters, magnetic side covers, adjustment handles, hydraulic piston, screws, allen wrench, screwdriver handle, and the piston cover along with the armrests.

The armrests come packaged in their own separate boxes nestled in foam padding for protection. The covers are magnetic so they just clip or stick on essentially.

The chair also comes with two very soft pillows, one for the top headrest and one for the bottom or lumbar area. The top pillow is magnetic so it attaches to the chair and adjusts easily. On the back of each pillow you’ll find a zipper so you can remove the cover for cleaning. The pillows themselves are soft and made from memory foam with the outer covering being a soft felt like material.

The last E-Win chair I reviewed came with similar pillows, they’re the new style, but the headrest pillow is very different, it’s shaped to contour to your head and I have to say I like this pillow, it is very comfortable. I like this new style of pillow very much. I have other E-Win gaming chairs and these pillows are a very welcome improvement for sure.

The chair comes in two main section, the top or back and bottom or seat. The top and bottom are covered with Brisa Ultra PU Leather which is made to be very durable to resist wear and tear. You can’t really see it but inside of the back of the chair is a lumbar support system that can be adjusted with knobs on either side of the chair.

The top has a suede like material strip on both sides with the Flash XL logo stitched on the left side.

The back side of the back section of the chair is basically plain, except for the E-Win and Flash XL logos stitched there. Towards the bottom you’ll find a metal plate that says America’s No.1 Heavy-Duty Gaming Chair Brand

The bottom or seat of the chair has a lot of foam in it, it’s very firm but yet soft. When I first sat on it I was sort of uncomfortable as it honestly felt hard, but after sitting in it for a couple weeks now I’ve come to like it a lot. The foam gives just enough to make you feel comfortable sitting for long periods of time.

E-Win calls the arms of the chair 4D, which means that they are highly adjustable, they can move up and down, twist right and left, they can slide side to side and back and forth. The arms both have metal plates at their bases which say Designed by E-Win. There are ‘chrome’ accents on the arms which make for an attractive appearance.

On the right side of the seat is the handle for reclining, it’s nice and large and easy to use and ergonomically shaped.

For assembly it’s easy really, just follow the instructions and it shouldn’t take long at all.

Here’s my video for you see, it took a little over 10 minutes to assemble the chair. They include the tools for you making things that much easier.

Here’s some pictures of the chair assembled with the pillows and without for comparison:

My cat Mocha found the chair very comfortable as well:

Conclusion

I’ll be honest when I was thinking about getting this chair I was thinking that the XL in the name Flash XL meant it was going to be a larger style chair for larger people, but it’s not, it’s the size of the other E-Win chairs but it’s made differently in the construction in that all the parts are extra heavy duty. The chair is made to hold up to 550lbs of weight, it’s solidly made that’s for sure and I can certainly believe it can do what it claims. I certainly do believe E-Win knows how to make the best heavy duty gaming chair on the market today.

The Flash XL chair is different that the other E-Win chairs I own in that it’s a heavy duty chair and it feels that way. Specifically the seat uses a much more firm foam which at first I wasn’t sure about as it felt rather hard but after a couple weeks I got accustomed to it and I’m very happy with it now.

The new E-Win Revolutionary series of chairs are just great really, they are a vast improvement on an already great designed gaming chair.

I have to say that I absolutely love the new style of headrest pillow, it’s very comfortable and just conforms to your head when you lean back.
