Mushkin, Inc., an industry-leading designer and manufacturer of high-performance and mission-critical computer products, announced today the official availability of the world’s fastest USB flash drive — the Ventura Ultra.
First unveiled at CES 2013, the Ventura Ultra 240GB USB 3.0 flash drive is the fastest in the world of its kind. The flash drive boasts ultra-fast data transfer rates of up to 380 MB/s read and 325 MB/s write with rugged aluminum casing for additional durability and resistance. The Ventura Ultra drive utilizes USB 3.0 — 10 times faster than USB 2.0 — and is backwards compatible with legacy USB ports and devices.
Additionally, the Ventura Ultra is one of the few USB flash drives in the world to offer USB Attached SCSI Protocol support, which allows for command queuing in order to maximize the transfer rate potential.
"The Ventura Ultra will be fantastic for anyone with the data transfer rates it offers. It is the fastest USB flash drive that Mushkin has to offer, and is the fastest that the world can currently offer. The media and large file transfer capability is phenomenal — anyone will be able to maximize its potential," said Nicolas Villalobos, Director, Global Marketing at Mushkin, Inc.
The Mushkin Ventura Ultra is available October 7th 2013 worldwide from authorized Mushkin resellers and distributors.
