NEC Introduces Latest 23-Inch “Green” LCD Display

Green is the new black, it’s the in thing, it’s stylish. Today NEC has introduced its latest LCD monitor called the AS231WM and yes it’s green, but not the color green of course. The new LCD is 23” with 1920×1080 resolution at 16:9 and 5ms response time and it comes with VGA and DVI connections. Release date is May 2010 with an MSRP of $269


A partial list of features of the AS231WM display includes:

  • 0.4W consumption in Power Savings Mode and Power Off

The new AS231WM display will begin shipping in May 2010 with an estimated street price of $269. The display ships with a standard three-year parts and labor warranty, including the backlight.
