Samsung Launches New Lineup of Affordable FullHD Commercial Displays

Samsung Electronics America, a subsidiary of Samsung Electronics Corporation, the number one worldwide brand of LCD display products, today announced it is shipping its newest lineup of FullHD Professional LCD Displays for Commercial applications, the FP-2 Series.

The new FP-2 Series includes FullHD 40” and 46” displays which are offered in two versions with and without embedded PCs. The 400FP-2, 400FPn-2, 460FP-2 & 460FPn-2 all offer 1920×1080 resolution, full commercial connectivity and commercial-grade panel that are rated at 16 hours, 7 days a week. These displays fit into the line-up right below Samsung’s award-winning 24/7 DID panel displays, the DX Series. Available now, the FP-series is available starting at $1175 for the 400FP-2 and $1646 for the 460FP-2.

DELIVERING THE COMPLETE MESSAGE

Utilizing Samsung SPVA panel technology, the FP-2 Series provides customers with incredible 178/178 degree viewing angles and a bright crisp picture. Messages will be easily readable at whatever angle your audience may be viewing the display. The FP-2 Series also features 4,000:1 static contrast ratio and a dynamic contrast ratio of 40,000:1. With an 8ms response rate, you can depend on motion clarity with reduced blurring. The integrated stereo speakers allow marketers to tap into the audience’s second sense without additional cost, delivering a truly streamlined package. The anti-image retention technology also offers four options that can be set automatically to preserve the life of the panel.

FULLHD & FULL CONNECTIVITY

All FP-2 Series displays feature 1920×1080 resolution, which takes advantage of FullHD, 1080p content. This allows content developers to create incredibly detailed and engaging content. To support content delivery, the FP-2 Series was designed to handle a wide range of commercial video and audio inputs including VGA, DVI, CVBS, HDMI, BNC and component connections. For network capability, upgrade to the 400FPn and 460FPn which features embedded PCs which can be easily managed over any network with Samsung’s MagicInfo™ Pro or the new MagicInfo™ i software. A digital TV tuner can also be easily added to the package with Samsung’s option set back box (SBB-DT).
