So I have another watch today for review from Aposon and Skmei and this one is a basic sport or outdoors type watch. It keeps time, but it also has an alarm and chronograph function too. The Review
Let’s start with a video unboxing and then move on:
The watch comes in Amazon frustration free packaging which is just basically a brown box and inside the watch is wrapped in plastic and then there’s bubble wrap for protection. An instruction manual is included as well.
The face of the watch shows the day and time and then there’s a bar going across the face that let’s you know if the alarm is on, if it’s PM, if the hourly chime is on and if the chronograph is on. Below the bar is the month and date shown in numbers. All around the face of the watch are rectangular markings or slots which the watch will fill up with black rectangles as the seconds tick by. The animation looks random but it’s a pattern and the side slots fill in this pattern while the seconds go by, it looks nice for sure.
The watch just has two modes in addition to the time, it has a chronograph or stopwatch and an alarm, but it also has an hourly chime as well that you can turn on or off.
The left side of the watch has button for light and mode, and the on the right side are buttons for start and reset. The case is about .5 inches thick and it’s plastic or polycarbonate making it fairly durable I’m sure.
The watch band is rubber or polyurethane and it’s very flexible but yet soft and comfortable. The buckle is metal and it’s thick and well made.
The back or bottom of the watch has the water resistance rating which is 50 meters and then the battery size which is a common cr2032 type battery.
The watch does have a blue EL backlight so you can see the time and date in the dark. The light stays on for a few seconds when you push the button which is long enough to see what you need to. You really can’t see the blue light in bright light, but in the dark it’s very visible.
Conclusion
The Aposon Skmei digital sport watch is a decent choice for a basic everyday wear type watch. It’s basically made of plastic so it’s durable for sure and it does have an alarm and a chronograph function too.
All in all it’s not a bad watch I think, it’s basic yes, but it works and it keeps decent time.
