I’ve got another flashlight for review today from our friends over at GearBest and it’s titanium so it’s made to be rugged and something you’ll take with you everywhere. The light is called the CooYoo Quantum Ti LED Flashlight, the Ti meaning titanium and it’s an LED light but it’s tiny coming in at under two inches long and it’s waterproof and II ‘d have to say it’s virtually indestructible. The Review

Let’s start out with a video unboxing and then move on from there:

The packaging is just a cardboard pack basically with lots of information on it about the light.

Once you get everything unpacked you’ll find the flashlight, key ring, two rubber o-rings and the user guide.

The version I got for review is a titanium alloy which should make it virtually indestructible or at least very close to it. The light is certified IPX-8 which means it’s waterproof up to 2 meters so you can take it anywhere really and not worry too much. This is certainly a flashlight made to be used outdoors.

The light is very small and portable at 4.1 x 1.28 x 1.28 cm or 1.61 x 0.50 x 0.50 inches.

The tail end has built-in stand and in the center is where you can attach the key ring so you can take it with you.

The microUSB port for charging is under the head piece, you have to unscrew it al the way and you’ll find a rubber gasket to keep the weather out.

The back end or tail cap comes off to reveal the battery and there’s also a rubber gasket here to keep the weather out. I checked Amazon and you can get a replacement battery for under eight dollars which is inexpensive.

You can charge the light via microUSB and the LED lights up red to indicate charging and then turns green when charging I complete. Charging time depends on how much capacity is left in the battery of course.

The power switch is the top, you twist and it comes on low and then twist a little more and it comes on high. The specs list the high mode as 130 lumens but no listing for the low mode. The switch is kind of weird, or at least I thought it was at first, but I got accustomed to it after using it  a few times. I was worried that it might come on in my pocket but it hasn’t, I’ve got it attached to my keys via the included key ring.

Conclusion

The CooyYoo Quantum Ti LED Flashlight is an amazing little light that I’m very happy to own. before this arrived I was using a cheap little button plastic LED light that worked but wasn’t very bright, the CooYoo Quantum light is 100 times brighter, at least it seems like it, and it’s rechargeable via microUSB so I’ll be able to charge it most anywhere. My phone charges via microUSB so I have an adapter in my car for it but I can also use it for this light.

The light is made of titanium and it’s waterproof so I would have to say it’s virtually indestructible.

If you’re looking for a handy flashlight that is just amazing you can’t go wrong with this one for sure.

Honestly I don’t know if I can say enough good things about this light, I’m truly impressed and I’ve added to my keychain to make sure it goes everywhere with me.
