I’m a guy so I like tools, all kinds of tools, but hand tools are very useful. Going outdoors you need all sorts of tools and sometimes you might need specialized ones depending on what you’re doing, like if you’re going fishing. A regular pair of pliers might work fine for fishing but the ones I have today for review would even be better for you to take fishing. The pliers are from a company called Zitrades and these are made of aluminum and they come with a sheath and lanyard. Overall these are great pliers and you can use them for much more than fishing. The Review

Let’s start with a video tour and then continue on from there:

The pliers ship in a plastic bag with a cardboard tag on the top. Inside you’ll find the pliers themselves wrapped in plastic for protection and inside of the sheath.

The pliers come with a nylon sheath for protection.

The sheath seems made well enough with a velcro closure on the front to hold the pliers inside of the sheath. On the back is a loop so you can attach them to your belt. The sheath has a metal grommet on it and attached to it is a carabineer that’s attached to a spring style cord and then that’s attached to the pliers themselves.

The pliers are made of aluminum and very lightweight but well made, they seem durable and rugged to me. I squeezed the pliers as tight as I could  and I couldn’t bend them so they seem strong. The pliers are spring loaded so they pop open when you let them go.

The jaws of the pliers have multiple uses for cutting, stripping and pulling and of course just as you would use pliers. The tip also has a hook on it for helping to remove hooks from fish. The grips and blades in the jaws can be replaced if need be which is a great bonus I think.

Conclusion

These are great pair of pliers for sure, and not just for fishing as they can be used for many things as pliers tend to be used for.

These are very well made of solid aluminum and it comes with a decent sheath to protect them and keep them handy.

The only issue I have these is that they can be slippery when wet, actually they can be slippery when they’re dry. I was thinking of using a spray on rubber coating on the handles, that might work to make them less slippery.

Overall though these are a very nice set of pliers and well worth the cost.

Pros:
+Replaceable parts
+Very lightweight
+Carabineer and strap so you won’t lose them
+Very well made
+Multiple uses

Cons:
-Can be slippery when wet or dry
