Earbuds or earphones, whatever you want to call them come in all shapes, sizes and colors and price points and some are better than others of course. I’ve reviewed a lot of products and a lot of headphones and it takes quite a bit to surprise me but I’m always willing to try something new. Today for review I’ve got a set of Earphones from a company called Pvendor and these sell for under $10 and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by the decent sound quality from them for the price, these aren’t bad at all really. Specifications and Features
The headphones themselves are in individual hard plastic cases that can also be used for storage when you’re not using them.
Once unpacked the headphone cable is about 42 inches long and it’s rubbery and flat making it supposedly tangle free. They do seem well made overall, the cable is rather thick but yet still flexible and it’s nice and long.
In-line is a remote and microphone with the microphone being on the bottom and the controls for volume and play/pause and answer/end calls being on the top.
The connector is gold plated for better conductivity and it’s the standard 3.5mm jack.
The actual earphones are kind of large in my opinion at about 1.25 inches tall and about 1 inch wide from the back to the front of the earbud cover.
For testing I used these with my Samsung Galaxy S6 Android phone and I’m happy to report the controls worked as they should, volume and play/pause functioned correctly.
The sounds is surprisingly good, it’s nice and full with decent bass and treble, I was really surprised by the sounds quality, it’s much better that I expected.
The only issue I have with these is the size, they just fall out of my ears with any movements and they don’t include any other sizes of covers.
Conclusion
For under $10 these are actually decent headphones, they sound good, much better than I ever would have expected for the price surely.
These could be an excellent set of budget earphones but they don’t fit me, they fall out and they don’t include any extra sizes of bud covers so you can find the right fit for you and I don’t understand that as most every set of earphones I’ve encountered at the very least comes with extra covers. In the case with these, one size will not fit all sadly.
Pros:
+Low price
+Good quality overall
+Decent sound actually
+Controls work fine with Android
Cons:
-Only one size covers
-One size won’t fit all
