The Review
Let’s start with a video unboxing / mini review and then move on:
The packaging is vey attractive and inside you’ll find the cable very well protected with styrofoam on the top and bottom and the candle itself wrapped in a layer of thin plastic.
Inside you’ll find the cable, user guide and remote control.
The remote has 10 buttons on it divided into four sections. The top is power with on and off buttons. The Timer section has buttons labeled 2h,4h,6h, and 8h for the hours you want the candle to be turned on. The timer works on a 24 hour cycle so if you press the 2h button at 8am the candle will stay on for 2 hours and then go off and then come back on the next day at 8am for 2 hours again. The next two buttons are Mode and are labeled Candle and Light. Candle mode is with the LED on and the flame moving, Light mode is with the LED on and flickering like a candle flame but the flame on top doesn’t move. The last two buttons are the dimmer buttons which are self-explanatory. The remote is small and uses a button style battery for power which they do include for you.
The candle is about 6 inches high and about 3 inches across and has a thin was covering over the whole thing making it look and feel like a real candle. On the bottom you’ll find the battery compartment, you’ll need three AAA batteries for power, and the power switch next to the cover.
The candle has a moving flame on the top that does look very real in the dark and the wax gives it a real look and feel.
Conclusion
The Comenzar 6 inch LED candle would surely make a great gift as it is that time of the year right?
I like these a lot, they’re safe, they look real and they work well, but they have no scent like a real candle would.
