Have some pie as it’s Pi day! I don’t get the whole Pi day excitement but hey whatever, to each his own. Anyway, I had plans yesterday to get a lot of things done, but it just didn’t happen. I heard some water dripping and said I think I have a leak so I went up in the ceiling as it were and investigated. I found a leak, it was a tiny little hole but when I pushed on the copper pipe my finger went right through it, so that was a surprise. So four trips to the hardware store for couplings, elbows and pipe I got it fixed. It’s amazing that a tiny pinhole tuned into me replacing about four feet of pipe and and elbow. That’s how I spent most of my day as it was the bathroom pipe which is upstairs, meaning I had to remove tiles from downstairs ceiling to get to it and work in a very cramped and confined space on a ladder.. The worst part of course was that it was the sewage line, thankfully it was the one coming from the sink and bathtub so it wasn’t raw sewage, the nasty stuff, but still it was rather nasty to deal with. No, actually the worst part was I don’t think I found the leak I was originally looking for because as I sit here typing every once in a while I’ll still hear drips of water….. So that’s a project that I think will wait until the weekend…. Anyway, read the news…
