I just posted about another 28 inch 4k monitor not long ago, it seems 4k is finally becoming popular but I can see from the pricing it’s going to be a long time before they get mainstream like 1080p is now. Philips has just announced the 288P6LJEB which is a 28 inch LCD monitor that can do Ultra HD resolution or 4K or 3840×2160 and it has an MSRP of $800, but it’s on sale for only $600 for a limited time. The monitor has VGA, DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort connections on it and it has 1ms response and two 3 watt speakers built-in along with USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 ports. Details below..
