Another day, another watch review, this time from a company called Aposon, but the brand of the watch is Naviforce and it’s an analog watch that is waterproof and has a very nice leather band. The watch does have a date box so you know what the date is but that’s all, it’s a basic watch but it looks very nice and it’s inexpensive. Read on to learn more…
Specifications and Features
The first thing that struck me when I opened the box was the smell of leather, the band is leather, but the watch itself look very nice as well.
The watch face does not have numbers for the hours, just marks which is fine by me, many watches are like that. The hour and minute hands are a gold color with a white center section that does glow green in the dark so you can still see the time in lowlight conditions. The second hand is thin and white but it does not glow. The watch face is a dark bronze or almost brown color with the border being lighter and then accents around the top being gold. The Naviforce logo in below the 12 and the date box is at the 3 position where you would normally find it. The watch is waterproof up to 30 meters or about 98 feet but you can’t pull out the side button, not that you would need to set the time underwater anyway. The watch is heavy and it feels rugged and very sturdy and it looks very nice really.
On the right side is a single button which is used to set the time and date. Pull it out half way to set the time and then all the way to set the date, very simple really. You can see on the side of the watch the color, half is black while the other half is the gold and bronze colors.
The watch band if real leather and it’s thick and sturdy with two band straps to keep the band in place on your wrist. The band has the Naviforce logo on the bottom and there is thick stitching all the way around with a solid metal buckle and there are eight sizing holes to get the perfect fit for your wrist. The band seems sturdy and well made, it shouldn’t break easily, it’s thick really, but yet soft and comfortable to wear.
The back or bottom of the watch case is stainless steel and it has the Naviforce logo there along with some other information for you, nothing special, just the battery cover.
This watch is a man’s watch for sure, it’s large, it covers all of my wrist, but that’s not a bad thing, you want a man’s watch to be large and bold and make a statement and this one does for sure. The watch does seem to keep correct time accurately, I set it to my computer two weeks ago and the time is still the same. We’ll have to see I guess as to how long the accuracy will last.
Conclusion
I’ve only had this watch for a little over two week so I can’t attest to its longevity but in that time I’ve come to like it, I’ve been complimented on it and it really does look nice, it’s striking really.
The watch is sturdy and it seems rugged, and it’s waterproof so you don’t have to worry about the rain and you could even shower or swim with it as long as you don’t go below 30 meters anyway.
All in all I like this watch quite a bit, it looks great and it seems to work just fine.
