Up for review today I’ve got a 32GB flash drive but this one is a bit special in that it has a Type C USB connector along with a standard USB 3 connection and it also has an Apple Lightning connector so the drive is very versatile. It’s from Auamoz and it’s not bad overall, speeds are decent but a bit slower than I expected them to be over USB 3.0. Read on to learn more….

The Review
Let’s start with a video unboxing and then move on:
The Auamoz 32gb flash drive comes packaged in a plastic bag for shipping but then it’s inside of a box that includes a paper with instructions for downloading the iOS app.
The flash drive is nicely made actually, it’s all metal and it rotates. The drive is about 2.75 inches long and about .5 inches wide. There’s also a hole at the back so you can attach a lanyard or wrist strap if you want.
On one side is a Type C USB connection that can be used for Macbook or an Android phone like my Samsung Galaxy S9.
On the other end is a blue colored USB 3 connection but it opens up to reveal an Apple lightning connector.
I ran a quick benchmark on the drive using ATTO over a USB 3.0 connection and the results are decent but not super fast as I expected really. Write speeds are very good but read speeds were about half of what they should be really.
Conclusion
The Auamoz 32GB flash drive is very useful in my opinion thanks to the three connections, but I should note to sue it with Apple you need to install an app.
Read and Write speeds are decent but a bit slower than I expected them to be really.
The drive is well made of metal and it looks nice and it seems sturdy.
Price is good for what it is, especially considering you get three connections.
Pros:
+Three connection types
+Well made
Cons:
-Slower speeds than expected
