It’s been a while since I’ve reviewed any cooking stuff, I love doing it and I always use it all, but it’s just not something that comes up so I almost always say yes when the opportunity arises. Today for review I’ve got a very nice set of measuring cups and measuring spoons from a company called Culinary Couture. These cups and spoons are made of stainless steel making them very durable and they look good too. Read on to learn more….
Specifications and Features
The cups are made of stainless steel and they have both standard and metric marking on them to indicate capacity. There are seven measuring cups that are marked 1 cup, 3/4 cup, 2/3 cup, 1/2 cup, 1/3 cup, 1/4 cup and 1/8 cup. What I really like about these though is the fact that on the sides of the cups are graduated markings, for example the 1 cup has marks on the side for 3/4 and 1/2 so if you need 1 and 1/2 cups you won’t need to use two separate cups for measuring, just one which is convenient.
The are six measuring spoons in the set and they’re long and slender so you can easily fit them into spice jars and such containers with small openings which is handy. The spoons have both standard and metric measurements on them and they are marked 1tbsp, 1tsp, 3/4tsp, 1/2tsp, 1/4tsp and 1/8tsp.
Conclusion
I’ve used these several times now when cooking and I like them a lot.
The cups and spoons are very well made, the stainless steel is sturdy and easy to clean.
I very much like the rings on the cups and spoons so I can easily separate them and only use the one or ones I need to measure.
What I really like though is the graduated marking on the cups, the markings are extremely useful when measuring so you won’t have to use more than one cup to measure.
All in all these are great set that I think will last a long time.
