I love my 3d printer and I have several 3d printing pens, they’re just a lot of fun to use and create things with. I was recently asked to review a nice assortment of PLA filament from a company called Follow Your Heart and I was more than happy to do it as you can never have enough filament and also I’ve gotten my kids 3d pens so they need filament too. Anyway, in the box you get 20 different colors of filament in rolls of 32 feet each. You can use it with your printer for small things but I think this is best with a 3d pen really. The filament is fine, I used it with both a 3d pen and my 3d printer and no issues at all. The price isn’t bad either for all that you get. Read on to learn more…

The Review
Here’s a video unboxing and a little demo of the filament as well for you:
The filament comes in a large brown box that just says 3d printer filament and PLA on it.
Inside of the box you’ll find each individual color wrapped in a sealed plastic bag and secured with a zip tie. The colors I got are Grey, Blue, Pale Blue, Violet, Purple, White, Red, Orange, Rose Red, Pink, Black, Turquoise, Skin, Brown, Silver ,Green, Yellow, Wood, Gold, and Fluorescent Yellow.
I did try the filament with my 3D printer which is a heavily modified Monoprice MP Select Mini. The filament rolls are only 32 feet each so I couldn’t really print any large so I printed a Baby Groot keychain for testing the filament and it worked well.
I used the AIO Robotics 3D Pen that only uses PLA to make an excavator and I used yellow, black, white, silver, gray, orange and red filament colors. It took me about four hours but it came out nicely I think.
Conclusion
I can find nothing wrong with the Follow Your Heart PLA filament, it works fine in both 3D pens and my 3D printer. The filament melts with no issues in either.
For the price this assortment isn’t bad at all I think, right now it’s $19 on Amazon and I think it’s well worth it, I’m happy with it.
