Conclusion
I’ve used my previous Kingston Wi-Drive primarily for long car rides to keep my kids entertained on their iPads, otherwise that device would most often sit in my desk drawer. The new MobileLite Wireless will definitely see much more action as it is incredibly versatile in its function. Even as a spare battery it will prove to be useful in an emergency.
The ability to off load pictures from an iOS device especially those Apple products with the 16 GB versions, is a huge lifesaver. I’ve had numerous occasions where my already full to capacity iPhone 5 would not allow me to capture a picture as I was out of storage capacity. Having the MobileLite Wireless will allow me to shift some of my pictures onto an SD card or USB drive wirelessly. Plus I can review photos take with my DSLR to my iOS devices simply by inserting the camera’s SD into the MobileLite Wireless and streaming the images.
The MobileLite Wireless really provides a Swiss Army Knife experience as all of its features work as advertised. It is currently available for around $60 which is an excellent price considering you get a wireless streaming functionality, an SD card reader and 1800 mA external battery. It’s hard not to come away impressed with the MobileLite Wireless from Kingston.
