Galaxy S6 Cases on Amazon


It’s Monday, so that means time for the new list of products that were added to our main site. These week we’ve got several things like laptops, monitors, netbooks, DVD and CD players along with a couple tablets and digital camcorders. So let’s just jump right on in…


We’ll start off with a couple laptops:



The VAIO VPCEA290X-S is a notebook that comes with Media Gallery which includes a UI with features and technology that allows users to enjoy media. It also features SensMe™ Technology which suggests photos and music based on viewing and listening habits, and comes with integrated GraceNote™ and YouTube™ support. It also features PMB VAIO® Edition that lets users manage photos and home videos and sort them by person, place, or date. The notebook also features a Blu-ray Disc™ ROM drive that supports high definition video playback; a HDMI™ output that lets users enjoy HD entertainment on compatible big screen HDTV; an ASSIST button on the keyboard panel that helps users diagnose problem right on their fingertips; and is covered by an optional Sony extended service plans to extend limited warranty coverage up to 4 years from the date of PC purchase.

The Maingear eX-L 17 is a notebook that is supported by Windows 7 Home Premium operating system with new taskbar previews, bigger icons, icon pinning, and creative ways to personalize one’s computer. The operating system also features Aero Shake, Aero Peek, and Snap to help users clear through desktop clutter. Aero Peek turns open windows translucent so users can see what’s on their desktop. Clicking a pane and shaking the mouse clears the desktop of every open window except one that is being viewed. Jiggling the mouse brings back all other windows. The system also features a retooled taskbar which include thumbnail previews of webpages, documents and video. Other features on the notebook include Windows 7 Homegroup that allows suers to automatically share music, pictures, video, and document libraries with others in the home; Jump Lists which takes users to favorite documents, pictures, songs, or websites; Gadgets that area based on feedback, and can be placed anywhere on the desktop; Windows Media Center which supports global TV standards and tuners, including digital and HD; and plays more popular audio and video formats—including 3GP, AAC, AVCHD, DivX, MOV, and Xvid.

MSI Wind U160DX

The MSI Wind U160DX is a netbook powered by Intel® Atom™ Processor N455 (1.66GHZ) and is supported by NM10 chipset, GMA3150 (Share with System Memory) graphics card, up to 2 GB DDR3 667 (1 DIMM slot) memory, a 10" (1024 x 600) WSVGA LED display, 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v2.1+EDR, a 1.3 M Webcam, HD Audio Stereo speakers, a 160 GB or above (2.5” SATA) hard disk drive, a 2 in 1 (support SD, and MMC) and the following input and outputs: one D-Sub, three USB 3.0, microphone-in, headphone and RJ45 interface. The netbook is powered by either a 3 cells or optional 6 cells battery. The MSI Wind U160DX measures 265 x 165 x 19.8-25.4mm and weighs 1.0 Kg (with 3 cell battery). It runs Microsoft ® Windows® 7 Starter operating system.

The 10-inch Wind U135DX netbook is designed with an exterior sheathed in MSI’s own Color Film Print. It is powered by Intel’s latest ATOM processor N455, which supports DDR3 system memory and works with MSI’s TDE turbo drive technology for processor and memory. The Wind U135DX comes in blue, red, and silver color options, a touchpad 20% bigger, MSI’s TDE’s turbo drive technology which supports overclocking to enhance processing performance, up to 2GB of DDR3 system memory for mobile computing, and chiclet keyboard with independent keys. The netbook also supports ECO engine power saving technology that extends the netbook’s battery life. ECO technology allows users to select from among five power management levels – Gaming, Movie, Presentation, Office, and Turbo Battery and maximize battery life.

The Motion® F5v is a tablet PC that is designed for the medical field and features thin-sheet glass that protects against display damage. It features Hydis AFFS+ LED backlit display and Motion’s View Anywhere® technology; and Gorilla™ Glass Display Protection with up to 4X breakage resistance. The unit is designed in a thin form factor with a surface that is resistant to damage that can lead to breakage. The unit is also compatible with tablet devices that adds protection without impacting pen response, is resistant towards water, chemical and disinfectant resistant coating.

The Motion Computing C5v rugged tablet PC is a unit that features Gorilla glass from Corning and offers users up to a 4X improvement in breakage resistance. The Hydis AFFS+ display offers lowered power consumption, optimized transmission of color and images, internal LCD panel reflection and LED backlight. The display supports 180 degree viewing angle, 600:1 contrast ratio, LED backlight, and has 20% longer battery life. The Motion View Anywhere display technology supports viewing in bright light environments and is ideal for outdoor use. It supports 10:1 reduction in unwanted reflectance and glare, 15% improvement in “light pass-through” efficiency, 225% increase in sunlight contrast ratio over standard displays and has optimized view-ability at wide viewing angles. Weighing approximately 3 lbs., the Motion Computing C5v is designed in a sealed form factor that allows users to clean and disinfect with standard cleansers (IP54 rated for moisture and dust), and has integrated handle that withstands bumps and drops (MIL-STD-810G rated). Other features on the Motion Computing C5v include hot-swappable battery optional Integrated digital camera/web camera; Wi-Fi®, Bluetooth® wireless connectivity and optional mobile broadband with Gobi™ 2000 (WWAN); optional accessories provide additional features and connectivity such as a Docking Station, Battery Charger, Mobile Dock, EasyConnect and MagStripe Reader and healthcare-oriented security features and optional smart card reader


Next up we’ve got a DVD player from one of my favorite companies, Vizio..

Vizio VBR200W


The Vizio VBR200W is a Blu-ray player that is designed in a 16.9” x 2.4” x 10.9” form factor that weighs 6.94 lbs. It has a power input requirement of 110V~120V at 50HZ/60HZ and has a power consumption of less than 25W on the average (1W on standby). The unit comes with a VIZIO Blu-ray proprietary remote and is compatible with Blu-ray and DVDs, Audio CDs, MP3s and Jpegs. It supports Multi-Channel 7.1 Audio Output via HDMI interface, and allows users to playback and enjoy media via back USB Input (JPEGs and MP3s). The Vizio VBR200W supports outputs such as HDMI, Component (YCrCB), Composite Video, Stereo Audio, Coaxial Audio and Optical Digital Audio.


Then we’ve got a  CD Player from Marantz

The Marantz CD5004 is a one disc capacity CD player that supports CD and CD-R/-RW media format and CD-DA/MP3/WMA file format. It utilizes an EI power transformer, features a text display, and functions such as Random/Repeat Play , Recording Edit Mode, AMS (Auto Music Scan) Mode, Peak Search, disc changeable in play with pitch control and headphone level control. It also features inputs and outputs such as Headphone Out, independent gold plated RC, TOSLINK digital optical output, gold plated RCA digital coaxial out, external control (RS232C), and D-Bus Remote (RC-5) In/Out. The unit supports 16-Bit Linear PCM, MP3 and WMA format, has a 44.1kHz, MP3/WMA:32,44.1,48kHz sampling frequency, 100dB dynamic range, 2Hz – 20kHz frequency response, 0.002% total harmonic distortion and 110dB signal to noise ratio. It has a power requirement of AC 120V 60Hz, has a power consumption of 14W (Standby: 0.4W), measures 17-5/16 x 4-1/8 x 13-3/8 inches and weighs 11.2 lbs.


Then we’ve got a monitor from Benq

The BenQ EW2420 is a 24 inch LED monitor that is part of the company’s Vertical Alignment (VA) LED monitors and supports 16:9 Full HD aspect ratio with viewing angle at 178º/178º, 3,000:1 Native Contrast Ratio and BenQ’s proprietary Senseye® Human Vision Technology. The unit is an 8-bit panel, and provides users with optimized color reproduction, an ultra high contrast ratio, display optimized blacks because of its capability to produce true black with zero bright dot (ZBD) and minimizes light leakage.


To end things up we’ve got a digital camcorder from Aiptek

The Aiptek DDD11X is a camcorder that supports 3D output and 720p HD recording via its 5 Mega Pixel CMOS (2592 × 1944); 1/3.2-inch sensor.
