Review of BeGrit Outdoor Tactical Shoulder Backpack Sling Chest Bag

begritbag2
I like military styled things as they always seem to be more rugged than regular stuff for the most part. Military style bags are nice to have as well as they always have lots of pockets for all your stuff and they’re usually fairly well made even if they’re inexpensive. Today for review I’ve got a small from BeGrit and it’s what they call an outdoor tactical bag, but it’s a sling bag really which have become more common. The bag is done in the military style complete with the popular Molle system and it’s got plenty of pockets for phones, tablets and whatever else. I like this bag a lot, yes it looks good but it’s great for taking my tablet and a few other things with me for a short trip. The bag seems well made, I haven’t had any issues with it so far. The Review

Let’s start with a video product tour and move on:

The bag just ships in a plastic bag which is fine as it’s not fragile or breakable.

The bag looks like a full sized military backpack really but it’s only 11″ x 7.8″ x 3.8″ in dimension so it’s small yes, but big enough for a tablet, phone and a few other thins for the day surely. This bag would be great for a day hike or trip as it should just have enough room for what you might need for a few hours out and about. The bag is made of 600D polyester which is a common bag material because it’s durable and yet lightweight. The front and sides of the bag have the Molle system that you can utilize for whatever you need to. At the front top of the bag is a section of soft loop fabric so you can stick things to it and it also has a strings that attach at four points that can be tightened with a plastic fastener.

The bag comes with a single thick heavy duty strap and a large clip, the strap can be attached at the bottom left or right side of the bag, it just depends on your preference.

The strap section at the top of the bag extend up to reveal another pocket that can be secured closed with a metal snap button. This section is covered with a rubbery plastic netting and it’s fairly stiff by lightly padded. The strap and the top section can be folded down into the pocket when not in use and the button can also attach to that section to keep it secured in the pocket. At the bottom of the pocket is a hook and loop fastener that you could use to hang something from if you wanted to.

Moving around the front of the bag we have the first pocket with the Molle system on the front and there’s even a small hole so you can run your headphone wire through. All of the zippers have rather long strings to open them, or zipper pulls. The front pocket is about 7 inches by 5 inches in size and the front of the inside is lined with a thin plastic.

Behind the front pocket is another one that’s secured by two zippers. That pocket is about 7x6x1.5 inches in dimensions and it also has a smaller pocket inside that’s big enough for a phone. My Samsung Galaxy S6 fits in there perfectly actually.

The main section of the bag is secured by two zippers as well and that pocket is about 10.5x7x2.5 inches in dimensions and it also has two more pockets inside that are big enough for an 8” tablet surely. Well I know it is as that’s where I carry my 8” tablet. The entire inside of the pocket, front and back, is lined with a layer of thin plastic.

Conclusion

The BeGrit tactical bag is priced at about $17 and I think it’s well worth it as I’ve found the bag very useful.

I’ve been using the bag to take my tablet and a few other things with me quite often and I just like this bag a lot, it’s not too big but yet it’s got plenty of room.

The bag seems fairly well made overall, the strap is thick and sturdy and then rest of the bag is made from a durable material.

The Molle system can be useful but I just like all the pockets, sure there’s not a lot of pockets but there’s plenty enough for me.

This bag seems just fine for a day out or even hiking or camping.

All in all I like this bag a lot.

Pros:
+Well made
+Plenty of room
+Very useful

Cons:
-None that I could find
