I’ve got a quick review today of something that everyone needs in their kitchen or at least something everyone needs if they value their knives. Knife guards are very important and it was about time for me to get some new ones so I went with a brand I know, and that’s Mundial. The set I got is six of them and they common knife sizes and I love them really, they work fine and they’re well made. Read on to learn more…
Specifications and Features
The guards are flexible textured plastic and the inside is like a cloth material that’s very soft. The cloth material is nice, but you just need to make sure your knives are dry before you put them inside. At least I do as the cloth material will absorb the moisture from the blades. The guards themselves though are nicely made and I like them a lot.
I didn’t need all of the guards that came in this set so I only ended up using five of them for my knives. I was looking for a set that could cover my knives and this Mundial set was the closest I could find and it worked. 
I have Mundial knives and it’s a perfect match for these guards.
I have Mundial and Forschner knives of varying sizes and I used them with these guards and they worked perfectly, it’s exactly what I needed and I’m very happy with them. The guards are nice and tight and they stay on the blades very well.
Conclusion
I’ll be honest one of the reasons I bought this set is the name Mundial, I have Mundial knives and they lasted over 20 years so I know it’s a quality name. The other reason I got this set is because it had what I needed in it.
I’m very happy with these knife guards, I’ve been using them for well over a month now and I’ve had no problems with them at all. I waited to post a review because I wanted to see how well they held up and if they got lose after a while like some do and these didn’t.
They hold my knives securely inside and protect them well.
I can highly recommend these guards if you need some to protect your knives.
