Conclusion
The Practical is one of those things that I wasn’t sure about but honestly it was fun to play with and discover to capabilities of the various batteries and chargers I own. I didn’t know there was such variations between them. I also found out that most every device doesn’t tell you how much wattage it can produce, so the Meter can help you discover things like that when the manufacturer doesn’t tell you.
The Practical Meter can be very useful in diagnosing problems as well. It can be a great little tool to have in your tech toolkit surely as it can let you know if there’s any issues with USB ports right away.
The Practical Meter is something that I like having around for sure. It’s well made and it’s small and portable as it’s about the size of a flash drive so you can take it with you if need be.
The cable is short, but I don’t think it’s a big issue especially if you’re using with a laptop for example as the port is right there on the side and readily accessible. I’ll use it with a USB extension anyway so it doesn’t matter much. Still though the short length might be of concern to some, especially if you’re using it with a desktop and don’t have an extension cable. So it’s just something to keep in mind.
I do really like the cable, obviously having the ability to charge more than one device at a time is a great feature but it’s a fast charging cable so your phone or other device should charge faster when using it. Of course the performance boost will depend on the device you’re using the cable with, so results will vary of course.
The cable is also very thick and it seems rugged and durable with nice big connectors on it.
You can buy the cable alone for about $15 but you can get the Practical Meter and the cable for about $22, which to me seems like a better deal.
I think the Practical Meter is a great and very useful gadget and I think you will too. The three in one fast charging really does work, it helps your devices charge faster than a normal USB cable allows.
Overall I very much like the Meter and the cable, and I can recommend it to anyone looking or needing such a device combo.
