Conclusion
The MCP50 has a list price of $149.99 in the US, but expect to find it for almost half that from some retailers. Pure has a growing network of distributors worldwide. At a discounted price it’s got a lot going for it, and our family certainly enjoyed using it. As a party machine, it’s perfect to have some fun with, but don’t expect it to replace your hi-fi as it doesn’t deliver exceptional sound. You could also consider this as a cheap PA system for a small venue or special occasion. It’s small enough to carry in the back of the car, or handheld for short distances, easy enough to use and has a good battery life.
Pros:
+Easy to set-up
+Range of inputs
+Rugged and portable
+Good battery life
+Loud enough for outdoor parties, good bass
+Variety of uses
Cons:
-Long battery charge cycle
-A bit on the heavy side
