Conclusion
The Satechi Travel Router is one of those things that surprised me, especially in the comprehensiveness of the settings, I honestly expected just a few basic settings. The Smart Travel Router is on par with a standard desktop router in terms of functionality and options.
The Smart Travel Router is more than a router though, it’s a travel adapter that let’s you not only use it in other countries but it let’s you use your devices in other countries. The only caveat is that the device you’re using has to have a voltage converter in it as the Travel Router does not.
It’s a simple to use product that does what it’s supposed to do, it’s simple to setup and easy to use.
The router can function just like a normal router but it can also be used as a client that let’s you enable other devices to be wireless enabled.
Pros:
+Multiple router modes
+Small and portable
+USB charging
+Can be used as a wireless adapter via Ethernet cable
+Full featured router
+Works for over 150 countries
Cons:
-No actual power convertor built-in
-No grounding built-in
-No on/off switch for router
-Supports passwords only containing letters and numbers
