Conclusion
Overall the impact snap case has a low profile and a professional looking appearance to keep one’s iPad Mini protected. It does not offer any stand functionality but that feature usually will add bulk to the case. While I am not a huge fan of folio style cases on my iPhone 5, the iPad Mini is a different matter. The cover keeps the screen safe when not in use.
Currently the Impact Snap with Cover for iPad Mini can be found on Amazon for around $57 making it more expensive than many similarly style cases. The cost differential is probably related to the cases composition as the D3O Impact Material is supposed to take the brunt of any impact instead of your Apple tablet.
Pros:
+Good protection
+Low profile
+Protects screen
+Provides additional privacy
+Includes SmartCover capability
Cons:
-Cover does not lock down
-Expensive compared to other iPad Mini cases
