Review of Moga Pro Controller for Android

Conclusion

So this is the part where I sum up the review right?

Well one question I think is important: is the Moga Pro controller worth it? The answer is yes, most probably, as it does work and it does make gaming more enjoyable I think.

There are issues with the controller like the HID support sometimes works and sometimes it doesn’t, like with my phone where it just wouldn’t connect for whatever reason.

The next issue is the games, it’s hard to know really which games are the special Moga Enhanced ones. you’ll need to do some research on your own it would seem to figure out which games in your library that aren’t installed will work with the controller correctly.

Another issue is product support and from my point of view it’s non-existent as after two weeks I still haven’t got a reponse from the company. That doesn’t sit well with me at all, a company needs to support their products.

The good stuff of course is that the Moga Pro has a very familiar layout so it will be easy to most to just pick up and use. The controller is full sized and fits comfortably in your hand.

The controller also has the HID mode which when it works it works just fine and it enables you to use the controller with games that aren’t Moga Enhanced.

Battery life seems great with the Moga Pro, I’ve used it for several hours and still haven’t had to recharge it.

Gaming on tablets and phones sometimes isn’t the greatest but the controller let’s you get a console gaming feel when playing them.

Overall I like the Moga Pro controller very much.
