Review of Targus CityGear TCG650 15.6 inch Laptop Backpack

Conclusion

The Targus CityGear backpack has got a lot of room thanks to all of the pockets, it should be plenty of room for anything you need to take to classes.

Since most people these days just take a tablet with them they can use the laptop compartment for other things like a binder and just use the built-in tablet pocket for their tablet.

The CityGear bag is made of nylon so it’s sturdy and well made and it even comes with a lifetime limited warranty from Targus where they will repair or even replace the backpack for you.

The straps are probably the most important part of the bag, after all they’re meant to carry the load on your shoulders. The straps on this bag are thick and very well padded making them comfortable for long periods of use with heavy loads. The back of the bag is thick and padded for comfort too making it a great combination for comfort with the padded straps.

The price of the Targus CityGear varies greatly depending where you look, but overall it’s a great bag and worth it if you need a lot of space to carry your stuff with you. The bag expands greatly, it’s much larger than it looks when empty.

The CityGear is a bag that can be used by students but it also looks good enough for business uses.

The one thing that does bother me about the CityGear is I don’t know if it’s water resistant or waterproof as nowhere I look mentions if it is or not. One would assume as since it’s nylon it’s at least water resistant to some extent but it would be nice if it was actually mentioned somewhere.
