SanDisk Extreme Pro 32gb Compact Flash Card

Reviewing the new SanDisk Extreme Pro Compact Flash card is easier said than done due to its blazing speed. The card is so fast that every device I tested with the SanDisk Extreme Pro Compact Flash Card was slower than the CF card.

Pantech C790 Reveal

The Reveal is for AT&T and it’s considered a messaging phone, it features a full slide out QWERTY keyboard and a regular dialer keypad as well. It’s got a 1.3MP camera in it, along with bluetooth, AT&T navigator and access to most all other stuff on the AT&T network as well. It’s not a smartphone by any means, but it resembles one. One of the nice features of the Reveal is that both keyboards are active at the same time so basically you’ve got a full QWERTY keyboard with a separate numeric keypad as well, so there’s no pushing a function button to access numbers.

Qnap TS-219P Turbo NAS

I love network attached storage, or NAS boxes as they’re called because they’re extremely useful for many, many things. External hard drives are nice if you want portability, but how many people actually take a big external HDD with them.…

Zowie Hammer Gaming Headset

Up on the review block today I’ve got a gaming headset from Zowie Gear called the Hammer. The Hammer is made for gaming specifically, and for gaming it works well, but if you’re looking for a headset that you can use for music and movies as well you might want to look elsewhere. The headset is nicely made with a large boom style microphone, long cables and even two types of ear pads are included.

My Secret Diary – Nintendo DS

My Secret Diary is the seventh O-Games title I’ve had the ability to review. While I haven’t been impressed whatsoever by the other two titles in the My Games series (My Dress-Up and My Make-Up), My Secret Diary offers a little bit more substance and is the first game in the series that may actually have a justifiable existence. While the other My games offer little to do and no reason to do it, My Secret Diary has some hint of a purpose and reason for a young girl to give it a few moments of their time. I’m not saying it’s the next Final Fantasy, but at least it’s something.

My Make-Up for Nintendo DS

I’m not the target market for My Make-Up. I’m not a nine year-old girl bored to death with no other means of entertainment and no method of social interaction. That doesn’t prevent me from knowing what does and doesn’t make for a good video game. If you read my recent review of this game’s counterpart, My Dress-Up, you’ll already know the verdict. It’s the exact same bit of slag, but on a face instead of on the body.

My Friends Nintendo DS Review

My Friends is a game for kids who truly have no friends. It is designed for the most anti-social of children who cannot muster the energy to go outside, make real friends, and engage in basic outdoor play. It’s true…

The Biggest Loser for Nintendo DS

The Biggest Loser isn’t as much a game as it is a guidebook to a healthy lifestyle. It features exercise instructions, healthy eating recipes, calorie counters, fat monitors, progress charts, goal planners and everything else you could imagine to get…

Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days Nintendo DS Review

Seven years ago, someone at Square Enix came up with the wacky idea to create a game blending characters from the Final Fantasy series with classic Disney friends. The game it birthed, Kingdom Hearts, was a surreal journey into a…

An Unofficial History of The Unboxing

Gadget pron, gadget porn, unboxing, unpacking, uncrate, it’s been called many things, but it’s The Unboxing. Why is it that we love to unbox our gadgets, what is it that excites us so much about unboxing a new gadget or…
